Me and FatMegara were discussing recently on the concept of phones in Utah. It went like this. I asked if they actually had phones in Utah. FatMegara replied that of course they did, how else would there be dial up? I pointed out the ever popular tin can and string. Here's my question. What would be the bawd rate of a tin can and string? Would the string even be capable of carrying a constant stream of packets across a network? is string even a good conductor of electric pulses? BTW. I'm talking twine or yarn, not metal.
